It's another Wednesday afternoon thing which means I might not be able to sneak off from
work but details are:
Life on the edge: the last hunter-gatherers in Britain
A gallery talk by Jill Cook
Wednesday 1 August 2007, 13.15
Room 51
BRITISH MUSEUM, Great Russell Street near Russell Square.
Admission free, just drop in
Jill Cook was in Ray Mears' Aboriginal Britain episode - she's a curator at the British
Museum and looks after the paleolithic and mesolithic collection. Below is a map
showing where the Brit Mus is, and also mentions another talk she's giving a couple
of weeks later (on the last ice age):

More events at the British Museum:

Adult education at the British Museum:
http://www.thebritishmuseum.ac.uk/learning/further_and_higher_education.aspx
(The PDF that you can download from that site is for Sep 06 to Jul 07 but hopefully
when their new brochure comes out, that's where it will be).
