Unbelievable, that some one will pay so far and this is with more than two days to go,£28 for a broken axe.

They may be good quality but at the end of the day its an axe.
I am sure there are many on here who can explain why,they are so expensive.
But to me its another label obsession.

Little bit of effort finding a local store willing to exchange it and you have a new axe...

You know, I'd be tempted, up to say £20 plus the postage but I think its a bit much beyond that.
What amazes me is how the thing got in that state in the first place:confused:
I think I would have been asking Gransfors for a replacement myself. Even dropped on concrete, I wouldn't expect that sort of damage.

Still, it just goes to show: you never can tell
