I've made charcoal using a kiln a few times but don't have access to one now. Got a fair amount of small wood (stuff upto about 2" in diameter) and am planning a biggish BBQ over the summer, and thought I'd quite like to do it using home made charcoal, so thought I'd try and make a clamp. Anyone done/ do this? Got any tips on how to construct it? I've seen the episode of Tales from Green Valley, so that's my current guide for it.
