I heard about the poppies on the radio last night, medicinal purposes apparently!

I didn't know it could be grown in this country, I thought that it may need a specific enviornment as it looks different to our native poppy.

Papaver somniferum - can be grown for it medicinal properties but it is also the source of the poppy seeds you use in cooking.

Ah right. Asked because there is a bank of white poppies that is grown in a field alongside dummer, you can see them from the M3 i think, that i noticed had come out the other day and looked like it had been snowing LOL.
