Another thing, people who have money who make stupid threads on various forums, this one included plus countless videos everywhere about cheap bushcraft gear for folk with no money, it's bloody offensive.
We are probably the group of people who have the biggest impact on the planet. Just...
When going through this forum i keep noticing the irony of it all.
Lot's of people view Bushcraft as a way to get closer to nature, learn skills used by our ancestor and embrace the wee man inside that want's to smash stuff with axes and other sharp stuff and burn stuff.
The idea of getting...
There is no real qualifications but just ask yourself what you would wan't from an instructor.

No affiliation etc and that article does seem to bam himself up a little but i agree with it. He doesn't teach survival though he teaches primitive living but...
Off topic but Lee Child is a legend. I here they are making a movie of One shot with Tom Cruise as Reacher. *** is with that.
On topic, Cut myself with an SAK last week, drunkenly i ran my thumb across the blade to see if my sharpening skills were any good, unfortunately they were not too bad.
Be very careful brother.

My feet sweat like mad tried everything. It causes incredible pain after walking any distance even after changing socks loads.
I've tried synthetic and natural socks and find that socks with a good wool content plus a synthtic wicking material is best for me but i can't get footware that...
I thought of that but with the size of the bowl on a spoon i think it would be pretty hard to control but next time out i'll give it a go as well as the bowdrill and see where i get.
Is there any way of making the bowl without having to by a curvy knife thing?
I could obviously just knock up a rough thing with the point of my knife but it wouldn't be very good.
I was thinking i could just knock up a bowdrill and use friction to make a bowl.
Is there an obvious solution...

I had read about it before many times but that means...
