    Some recent landscapes

The first and the third are great shots. I wish I had the original of the first to play with. I don't think you could better the content if you'd deliberately set out to take only that shot on the day. Nice work

    Some recent landscapes

Nice shots. I've just had a little play with a couple of them, literally 2 mins each. They look good i think.

A few pics of the areas I do my stuff in..

Its fairly dramatic scenery at times, but like you say, its dry, I also love temperate woodland, but I can camp out here with only a mozzy net to disturb my view of the stars. Most of the time my tarp is at the bottom of my bergen, and stays there, instead of at the top being the first item you...

    Air traffic control needed

Glad you liked the pics. Here are a few more. These areas are about 25-45 mins inland from Benidorm, believe that or not. And finally, who needs a DD hammock, when you have a bedsheet and a couple of bits of nylon rope.

Brilliant. You'll love the region's mountains and a the unspoilt areas that can still be found here. What are you going to be studying? Castellano I would presume?

    Dried/dead Oleander flowers

This may not be hugely useful to many because I'm not sure how widespread this particular plant is. I was walking and realised I had no lighter for my ciggy -yes I know I shouldn't smoke -but I did have my ferro rod in my bag. I spotted some oleander bushes with a few dead flowers on them...

Need a snare that kills a rabbit quickly

My thoughts entirely. You live in England, there are no shortage of highly visible warrens to exploit, with landowners consent obviously. Another tactic, for finding free meat, I used to do regularly is what I call road-kill-managment. Every night on my way home from work I'd use the country...

    Bear Grylls- Urban Survivor

Hi All, I'm new here so bear (excuse the pun) with me. I see there are basically two trains of thought here. One being that BG programs are nought but entertainment, and the other being that his productions are a dangerous sham that could land somebody, anyone daft enough to take him seriously...
