its always the same hole. its weird it seems like one half of the tent is much better waterproffed than the other. but i did the proofing myself and know i did both halves the same
yeah that had entered my mind, just thought id open up the floor incase there was a solution i hadnt thought of. Also want to use one arm hole for a chimney in the winter months, be nice to be able to pick between four holes depending on the ground i'm camped on. but i can see your suggestion...
any folks on here use a polish lavvu tent? when it rains the the tent always leaks from just one of the arm holes. ive tried fabsil but it still gets through. does any one have a solution? i was think old school candle wax but thought there might be a better way?

"Heavy metal poisons are are serious issue and historic use of lead pipes for drinking water was clearly not a good idea but TBH if you are only drinking a few litres a year while out...
been doing some more reading and thinking. a normal kitchen brita water filter seems to do it, i might try to take one apart and build new slimmer filter out of it.
hi, im looking for a way/ device that can remove heavy metals from water. i live in rural wales, i can find loads of cost effective water filters but none seem to take out the heavy metals and the area i live in is riddled with silver and leads mines. can anyone help?
