    What do you do?

I would agree with a lot of waht has already been said, do what you want to do. But, have something to fall back on if the dream doesn't work out. It's the one regret that I have in my life that I waited until I had tried all the other stuff out before I went and did my degree, so at 33 I was...

    Axe advice needed

Right then, I'll be changing the helve for a longer one. I was hoping to end up with a more versatile tool than it is at the moment, and it looks like this will work. Cheers for the advice and photo's, I'll try to get some of my 'reworked' axe up when it's done. Paul

    Bushcraft Anthems

Na, Mike Oldfields Voyager album is much more bushcrafty, Tubular Bells I, II, III and Millenium Bell are all for the bath and relaxing with a glass of wine, or a large, quality single malt, at home.;) Paul

    Bushcraft Anthems

When leading groups on walks and hikes I would start humming 'We wish you a Merry Christmas', 'Jingle Bells' or 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer', without fail several members of the group would start to sing the song.;) And, on another note, how about 'Run to the Hills' by Iron Maiden Paul

    Preparing Cramp Ball fungus

I've left the ones I've found on the radiator for a couple of days which seemed to work. I've got a couple that are really wet and i've thought about trying the oven on a really low setting for a few hours. Anybody else tried to force dry them? Paul
