A question for the pipe smokers amongst us!

Cheers man. Yea, Askwiths are lovely, but I'd better not buy any more for now, unless there's a bargain to be had :) Mr. Magicfingers - watch out for pipe acquisition disorder. I bought a cob for a weekly puff whilst hiking. Then an ozark. Then a briar. Then I made one myself. Now have 4 and am...

A question for the pipe smokers amongst us!

I made one from cherry, not from a kit but from a chunk of cherry, an acrlyic rod and some delrin rod for the tenon. Drill press, dremel, hand tools. Oh and swearing. Lots of swearing. Turned out all right though eventually. It's a royal pain without a lathe...

A question for the pipe smokers amongst us!

Ennerdale's nice. tried kendal and kendal vanilla recently but wasn't too impressed. I got some Gawith's Grousemoor recently - I like the taste but it's missing something for me, very unsatisfying despite having a nice flavour. I've never tried St.Bruno but hear good things :)

A question for the pipe smokers amongst us!

I like the lakelands, flavoured but without being too goopy, and the quality of the tobacco is obvious. G&H Grasmere flake, Bob's chocolate flake being my personal favourites.

A question for the pipe smokers amongst us!

I kicked the cigs by vaping for years, and kicked the vape with nicotine lozenges as I got sick of the faffing about with bottles and coils. Started pipe smoking 6 months or so back, just once a day usually, and a missouri meerschaum corncob pipe is a good place to start. Baccy wise, you'll...

    Polish Lavvu

Howdy, I've got a canvas Polish army two man poncho/tent/lavvu which isn't getting much love. It's been up in the garden a couple of times but otherwise unused. Has all the poles and pegs that it came with. I'm pretty sure it's never even got wet. Ideally, I'm after a sheath for this little...

    Fear of the dark

I don't post often, but I think Bill wins best post, in the best thread, of the forum - for me at least. I'll be using that analogy with my boy. Awesome post/sentiment :)

    Crafty Secret santa

Oh wow, I'm a bit worried now. Don't put too much effort into mine - I'll be sending it out in a day or two, but it's more of a selection box than a big pressie. Cheers, Glyn.
