Thanks for the replies! I already have the 8" GSi pan but I saw one being used in a video and thought it would be a nice addition to my collection!

I'd like to start by saying that I hope I didn't cause anyone any distress, that was never my intention. I just wish someone from the magazine had been in touch, even a one liner would answerd a lot of questions. The total lack of communication I think is what has got a lot of peoples backs up...

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Ive just been told that the finish is meant to be like that for grip in as youve already mentioned inclement weather. Its not damaged in anyway so I think Im just going to leave it be for now. Thanks again!!
