...Carved from an unknown wood (felled and given to me by Ollie). Hard as iron to carve but when I came to oil it, very porous...the oil dripped through the bowl...So, six coats of varnish later, it's water-tight...Just in time for camp next weekend...

Personally I think it looks like a hobbit pipe...
