What's your long term project for this year?

I'm thinking about living like a hobo for a year roaming the UK to see if it can be done? To find out what legal pitfalls I might encounter? Then writing about it.

I'd write about it while i was doing it if i were you, the UK blogosphere is not as big as the US' but there are a quite a few really cool blogs, you'd find there's more help, support, encouragement and people to visit than you might have thought. Good luck if you do it, and if you don't, well I enjoy dreaming about it too.

Plans for this year?

Take my bags and leave Belgium.
Going to Norway and live in a Yurt, teach other people how to live in nature and respect it.

Then come back, and if everything went like planned, sell everything in Belgium en move to Norway, keeping on doing what i did this year.

Most of the time it's 'learn to be a better forager'.
And every year I fail.
So this year's goal is to not set myself goals but to let whim and whimsy take me wherever it pleases, without agenda or aim.

To find myself a job as I was forced to resign last October.
Learn how to use a sewing machine, so that I can make curtains and other useful things.
To go camping. I should qualify that comment by explaining that I'd like to sleep under canvas or a tarp, as opposed to lying awake all night with grumbling insomnia.

Been trying for the past 6 years but the mounting court orders are getting embarrassingly high now.

i have just been stood in the garden staring at the footings,...hahaha

imagining where the woodburner will go,,where my bench (i,m fitting hardwood worktops with stools) is gonna go ,

sockets, the sink is bothering me at the mo,....

the planning is all the fun mate innit?...but i,m no bricky so i have some fast growing ivy cutting just pricked out ready to cover my sinful brickwork,.hahahaha
