Trapper Sack

Just found this in a charity shop for £1.99, it looks like it needs some sort of frame, nice wide pack though and plenty of points to fix things too.







Does anyone have experience/knowledge of these? Is Trapper the make or model?

Google brings up a Trapper India but it looks different.

I recognise the label, can't for the life of me remember the maker. I'm sure Trapper's the model. It's from the 70's-80's, maybe Cobmaster, Campari or similar and probably had an aluminium pack frame.

Thank you, a search for cobmaster trapper brings up a similar though slightly different pack. It gives me something to go on as to how this should set up.

Great idea!

I was thinking of converting the back of an old chair.... But Hazel would be much nicer. I also have the start of an idea for a fold flat stove that doubles as an internal base plate.

Back in the day (this style pack is from the 1960s) those were for tying things to the pack (no MOLLE back then)
