did you re-size it?

also look at your options on photobucket, you can set the max size that PB makes images to 640x480 (and others) which is sort of forum standard for best viewing/bandwidth consideration

What are you using to shrink them down? If I'm using photobucket, I tend to use the automatic resize thing on upload.
