the nature here in Italy is freekin' me oot, this was in the wash hoose this morning, also saw two snakes mating while walking the dogs through the industrial estate. Defo for the hammock here...

That's right. But still check your boots. :)

Sometimes we get the odd scorpion in the bedroom, but mostly they stay in the cellar. :)

On Crete we only had them indoors if there was a quick change in weather,(hot to cold or reverse) which was seldom, and then they were of the paler colouration. While camping though, we always did boot checks and sleeping bag shake outs only to find the odd lizard or gecko.
That one in the pic looks like it's been there a while and a spider has started a web!
