Hi Dave,

I'd love to attend but I'm away quite a few weekends in a row so it may be difficult to get a pass for Friday to Sun, would Sat to Sun be ok?

Cheers,

Dan.

Right, well all the tools I own I'll be bringing anyway, so you can measure up their usefulness. And the tree sounds good.

The Arctic setup sounds cool guys you going to be wearing appropriate clothing for arctic too?

Should make for some good photo's (sure i can photoshop in some snow lol) and will provide a nice learning curve for you i would imagine!

I'm really jealous of you guys doing the Arctic trip next year, wish i could go too but got SOOOOOOO much on next year, trying to fit all that in will be a squeeze. I take it you'll be doing it again though?

I hope we'll be doing it again. As for kitting myself in my arctic clothing, like I said before, the kit I bring is really everything I own, so ill just make notes of what to add as I go. Only way to do it at the moment im afraid. That said, RedFox, should I forgo the hammock on this trip and bivi it for training?

Yes phaestos get use to a bivi set up :) ... but only if you want to tho,Dave Bromley there will be more trips to the artic and other intresting places in the years to come. I think at least one big adventure a year for me. Dont worry about not being able to make a trip it will give you more time to plan and get gear together for the next one,I am hoping to jump in on your hedrians wall trip but it will just have to be a flying visit mabay just for the weeken. Ive not got many holadays left :( ...
