That's a good list, the knot one certainly helped me, nice long read in the others. Some not so great but so far I'd say none bad at all.

To see if a thread is useful or not, let it run for a few days, and see how many people reply. If its good people will thank you for it, if it's bad people will tell you. If you don't get many or any replies then it probably wasn't interesting either way..

I don't think its that old, there's what looks to me to be an Optimus Nova stove depicted in its pages, I've just had a quick scan through it but it looks a pretty good book to me.

Might buy it when I have some spare cash about.

www.scribd.com free downloadable books on all sorts. From making bows, knives, blacksmithing, some bushcraft stuff but not tagged as such so will need to use all sorts of searches.
