Hi folks, just wondered what your favourite YouTube channels are?
I used to watch Dave Canterbury a lot, but have gone off him. A little too regimental and a bit gung ho for me.
Instead I have come to enjoy Greencraft and MCQbushcraft.
they both know their stuff, and have very calm and relaxed approach to their craft.

Been watching Bushcraft Bear. Was amazing to see how he made a cooking pot out of bark. I think he's German but he never talks anyway . Good stuff all round.

The only shrafty channels i regularly watch these days are Greencraft, Bearded Bushcrafter, Bushcraft Padawan & Paul Kirtley, gave up on the likes of MCQ, Pathfinder, Bushcraft Lilly when they started to take themselves too seriously.

    She has skills.
    Budhcraft skills.
The only ’skill’ she does wrongly is the one with nuts.
    Coconuts.

Most of those listed but particularly Greencraft, Joe Robinet and a relatively recent one Simon - a Bloke in the Woods who I think you would enjoy

There was a great set of short videos a few years ago. A guy made a knife from a file. Did it all outside. Built a furnace on the ground with a fan from a car to get it going. He showed how to anneal, set up guides to get the edges right, how to temper, put on the handle. All I can really remember is that it was all outside and he was (may have been) wearing a smelly Helly.

Anyway it was great. Most of the other ones I tend to think are a bit full of wind, or rather grand or are just making a vehicle to promote something or other.

EDIT: Oh, there you go .. found it. On Vimeo he is now. Greenpete

Stick link down, I'm sure bit of shamless advertising would be alright by the mods :).

I remember watching your hunting trip, and a couple of other vids [was it you who bought a sleeping bag in a can, or was that someone else?], I like your sound tracks too, :).

I think I spend more time watching youtube than I do mainstream tv nowadays! Anyhow, I enjoy a few bushcrafty and Wildcamping channels:

    Joe Robinet,
    Greencraft
    Descattys
    Crafty Veggie
    TA Outdoors
    Haze Outdoors
    Erik Normark
    Kent Survival
    Nagualero
    Shug Emery

All very good channels in my opinion.
