Canvas Tarp advice

Im looking to buy a [Waxed/Oiled?] Cotton/Jute Tarp to make an old fashioned bed roll with my Wool blanket.

Thing is im likely going to have to order it from the web so cant really get hands on. Can anyone suggest what fabric and indeed weight of fabric I should be looking at and anything elso I should be looking out for?

The one im currently looking at is 21oz Duck 2.4x3m for around £60.... I have a feeling that this is far too heavy.

Any advice or product suggestions welcome.

21oz canvas is extremely heavy you'd do better with something around 12oz or even lighter.
