The dogs were asking for a run and as it was a nice warm (+3C), sunny day I figured I'll combine a brew and gather some pine/spruce sap on the way.
Sap is easy enough to find, atleast in small amounts in just about any woods where I usually go, but this time I landed a stream.
Thought I show you some pics from my winter firespot too. It's a tiny forest lake 14km from my house.
Tinder is growing on trees
Plenty of dead standing everywhere, loads of it lying around too, so the standing ones are left for the birds to hunt
Made a fire to boil some water and to get all smoked up

Somebody had caught Mrs Pike earlier in the morning
And this is what I brought home
