    My daughters road

I was going to make a donation, but some lads offered me a few cash games on the pool table. Sorry to say I couldn't resist a gamble.

    Doesn't look like cherry leaves

Sea Buckthorn has totally different leaves - Sea Buckthorn have small thin leaves that look like needles from a distance. Different genus altogether I think.

    A little fishing trip 28-07-13

Lovely looking colours on that last Rudd. Was only talking the other night about how I'd quite like to go back to coarse fishing, need to buy all new tackle though. Just wondering how you managed to fit 30lb line through the eye of a size 18 hook! :P

Ooh no, either boiled in salt water and then covered with a bit of tomato puree mixed in some mayonnaise and black pepper or pan fried with a bit of spring onion, garlic, lime and chilli pepper.

    Prawnin' in tha Mornin'.

Thought I'd take the boy down to the harbour with one of the prawn nets my grandad used to make. I'll get into the technicalities of it in another thread if people so wish, but this is about the day. Bit of short wait. Got himself a prawn. He didn't like any of the crabs we...

Cheers, it's my favourite too. As far as mammals and evolution go, they're a pretty old animal. So far as the work or hobby question, sadly just a hobby. I had a thing in my head to start a youtube channel and see what critters I can get on there. It'll be something there for the boy to see in...

Got my trail camera back from Africa last night and have been looking at some of the videos. Here's just a few - loads to wade through and sadly a lot of false triggers, but that's the nature of trail cams sometimes. A Genet.... I think it's large-spotted, but not 100%...
