    ive just started on my third bow. its an oak self/possibly silk backed backed job, i have this question, could i split it again and get a second bow out of it or should i stick with making one out of it? and was it correct to take the sapwood off?

    got my first axe yesterday

    ive always used my parents axe until now, but my mum found and axe at the school market on saturday for £6, its edges was about 3-4 mill thick at the cutting edge so after lots of grinding ive got a nice sharp tool. its a simple axe like the ones you get from the hardware store( 1.5 lb i think)...
