Has anyone broken/bent a stick tang knife ?, I dont mean on purpose but during normal knife duties, batoning, chopping etc. I ask because I normaly carry a Mora or a Pukko, both small or stick tang, I have found them very strong and capable, but there is a view that only a full tang is...

I've got a Woodlore, puukos, RAT's, BRKT's and many others, however I still find myself taking the Clipper or the No1 when I head outdoors. I must love them.

I have a policy of be prepared because in my case, if it can go wrong it will, so I carry a "just in case kit", even in town/office - satey pins, needle, thread, shirt buttons, elastoplasts, steriwipes, asprin, spare shoe laces, small SAK, led torch, mini bic, cash (notes and coins) pencil...

Go for the Titantex smock, it's very hard wearing and is windproof, it is only showerproof but with a cottonproof type treatment you can improve this, I would still take a waterproof as well in case the weather gets really nasty.
