    Rope for making dog leads - where & what?

    I use this rope in 10mm for alpaca restraints as it is not too abrasive for going around the ankles(cos the owners hate to think of their poor animals being in any discomfort whilst being shorn) but is strong enough to hold even the biggest animal and it also looks alot better than most poly ropes.

    Where do you carve?

    If at home I sit in my armchair in the front room, I use an old single sheet over me and then spread out on the floor in front catches all but the most airborne of chips but if the weather is nice i sit in the garden next to my firepit with a nice fire going

    it is a type of granite so the edges would still be relatively crisp even after a few hundred years it could be some type of memorial but couldnt be sure on that one
