Very nice Mark, how is Eucalyptus to work with? I had a tree come down and the logs are just sitting in the garden. Nice and dry but have split now.

Hi Andy, cheers mate :)

Its nice enough to work with. A few proviso's though.

It has to be fully seasoned or it will warp quite a bit ( thin pieces like knife scales anyway) Also if its not seasoned the oils in the wood will oxidise and turn green.

Secondly, if you wish to glue it you have to prep the surface properly first. A good wipe down with white spirit is what i do, seems to work well enough.

Hope that helps :)
