Are you sure it is Swedish?

The Swedish Army did not have a parka with sheepskin in the M-39, M-40, M-58 or M-59.

What was issued was a sheepskin lined coat, I think it belonged to an earlier uniform. Was heavu like hell, but kept us warm!

(Maybe it belonged to the Navy or Air Force?)

Can you take a pic of the markings inside?

It can be the M1913 Livpäls.
But it is no parka. It is a coat.

Maybe the Germans had a similar garment, or the film makers used one of the Swedish onrs, but in reality Wehrmacht never used Swedish uniforms. Sweden was never in WW2. Neutral leanings slightly towards Germany.

Yours looks a lot shorter than mine. Mine is a Swedish M1909

For starters, it is not a Parka, as it has no hood. It seems to be a fur lined jacket as it is short. Hip length maybe? The first picture seems to show it is that.
The M1909 is a white/ whitish long coat, to be used wintertime when on guard duty and similar. In my unit we used this ancient piece of clothing in 1982, for stationary observations during winter time. Maybe even later, but that I do not know as I did not work for the army after that year.

I'm going to call you out on this Janne, I have it on good authority from another Swede and several others that mine indeed is a m1909 and mine is a grayish colour.

Probably film makers taking liberties but given the dire shortages of winter clothing faced by the German army on the Eastern Front, soldiers would have been happy to wear anything that would keep them warm that could be begged, borrowed or stolen from any source. Quite probable that a specialist sniper whose actions were celebrated in the press would have had access to decent kit from a neighbouring country. See link below to Dr Goebbel's Christmas 1941 plea for all patriotic German civilians to hand over any warm clothing to be used by the military.

FWIW, I recall buying something similar to this mail order from a surplus shop in the early 1980s when I was looking for a warm coat to go to college in. I sent it back as it was big enough to fit three of me in and certainly wasn't something you could comfortably wear in the UK other than on a few days a year - looks good on Chiseller though! :)

I searched a bit more, and indeed on images on the net I can see the fur jacket you have is indeed a M1909!
We must have been isdued with a later, long model. Ours was white. Same look in all other aspects except much longer!
