Do you ever get a song in your head that comes out of yesteryear?

I don't know why this keeps popping into my head? The radios been kaput in the car for months I usually only listen to books or R4 anyway but now its gone I've started singing and the wierdest one that came out of nowhere is Marti Caine, if there's a right way to do it.

This popped into my head after a good few years absence while walking the field today. Love the song and wish that the albums weren't on vinyl. Great video and I'm just catapulted back to the mid 80's while it washes over me.

Certain things we hear or sometimes see, subconsciously remind us of tunes occasionally. If you haven't done this already, try this next time you enter a place where there are a few other people. Before you do, have a tune you know in your mind and, as you enter start to quietly whistle it for maybe 15 seconds or so, just enough to get a bar of it going. Then stop-you will be surprised to hear more than one other person(provided they know the tune themselves)start to either whistle, hum or sing it themselves.
