Well, got my first insect bite of the year, on the wrist. I now work as a gardener & having been taming some wild gardens this week, so its only to be expected.

seen mozzies all over my house for the past week - although not biting yet? Also last weekend did a camp in the lakes and came back bitten. I don't see it as bad luck, I see it as preparation for my trip to Finland next month.
No insect bites yet, but an centipede had a go at me when i tried to stop it escaping long enough toi get a picture, and I definitely came off second best in several encounters with hawthorn and blackthorn bushes whilst insect hunting.
