I downloaded RIPD...OK at best. I 'try before I buy' I download and then buy the DVD/Blu Ray for my collection if its a good watch...not hit that list although I did buy LOEG.

My ever expanding disk collection appeals to the prepper in me, I can be watching a film as the zombies beat down my door when the internet fails (and it will fail big time sooner or later).

The Deep - a recentish subtitled film about an icelandic fisherman who survived SIX hours in freezing seas and became involved in medical experiments as a result. Quite good if your not looking for action/violence.

A tad adrift here but Night of the Hunter is a classic film...if you've not seen it then plan on doing so, its superb; Bob Mitchum at his best.

A sample for you all

Paprika is a cracking watch too, was Christopher Nolan's inspiration for Inception

I enjoyed Paprika, only now that you mention it do I see the similarity to Inception.

For folks who enjoy Japanese animation I recommend this, 'la maison en petit cubes'.

A French title, however it is a Japanese production, a very worthwhile twelve minutes, especially for those with children or grandchildren.
