Yup, mine is gone too. Saw it yesterday and wanted to report it. But then I found this post made by Tony in this thread

IIRC i requested Tony allow these before christmas.. which he did though he did say it may not be permenant.. remember pictures like this use BCUK bandwidth and as such cost BCUK money.. it may be better that they are removed.

it's a link to a picture stored on someone else's hosting, so technically not unless this forum makes a copy of it, only avatars take up space here?

I think the problem was that some people were going overboard. I had an image but some people had a couple and some quite big.

So even though I used one I think we are better without.
