New jacket help!

I am in need of a new jacket for smart casual, to be used for bushy activity once it has worn a little. I had decided on a fjarllraven Greenland, however I have discovered that the football crowed have taken this up as there brand of choice. And no offence intended. I do not want tone associated with this is any way.

Can anyone recommend me an alternative?

+1 for Barbour.

I've got a Barbour Trooper jacket and I love it. It's less of a country style and more military, similar to the Fjallraven ones. Plenty of pockets, warm and waterproof and looks just as good around town and in the pub as it does walking in the woods.

Barbours are great yes, but if you like the Fjallraven Greenland then go with it. Your choice of jacket won't ever mark you out as a hoolie, only your attitude. It's a bit like people worrying unnecessarily about wearing camo.

How about the Westwinds Airedale? Similar price. I've always thought it was quite a nice looking jacket - certainly acceptable on the high street - but I would begrudge thrashing a £200 jacket in the woods from new.
