That's a very good point HillBill, and to be honest anybody that can inspire kids to do things these days should be applauded. I was never a scout but I believe that I would have got a lot out of it if I'd gone back to Cubs after Seamus Mullen spat in my face. That being said Bear's show's are carp even from a non sensationalist point of view.

p.s. met Seamus when I moved school later on in life and got my own back.

if i'm completely honest, i do find bears tv persona on man v wild very entertaining (even with its bias:pokenest:) yet his other activities are a little more sober and worthwhile. the man has his pros and cons certainly but at least bear didnt get whacked by a tree scorpion like duncan did :lmao:

It's TV not real. It gets people watching about the great outdoors a few may seek knowledge and be inspired. I think he makes a great chief scout.

The technical advisor is a respected member of this community I believe.
