    Absolutely. I’ve just been installing some cctv cameras. The camera bodies, etc are plastic but the bit that gets me is the torx bit in its own plastic bag. Why? Just waste.

    It depends on where the line is for you. I know of folk how do carry a bearing but for me that’s the point where it feels too far - might as well just carry a lighter then to my mind.

    It just depends. If both are too soft or both too hard then the rate they wear might not work well enough to produce viable embers. Speed, pressure, notch size all come into play.

    I would be tempted to make a more elegant tip - drop the spine down a bit more - I wouldn’t worry that it’ll cross the finger pull groove.
