    What have i missed?

Hey all been a long while since i've been on here. Fair weather bushcrafter obviously! Hope you are all well and staying warm. I had also come on here today to stick a couple of things in the classifieds, but it seems i dont have access. Have the rules changed? I know over at BritishBlades you...

    Hammocking without underquilt

I have a DD travel hammock (doesnt breath that well), so i prefer an underquilt, either a summer or no sleeping bag and sleeping in a tshirt. I find im able to control my temp much better, dont sweat as much and dont wake up with that clammy feeling. Trial and error though. My mates spend most...

HELP!!! whats the best insulator for DD Travel Hammock?

    Whoopie slings?

I totally agree. Im a gadget junkie as well, and thats why i tried them. They keep me swinging so theres no real complaints. Most people will feel the whoopie sling is all win win, but i personally think...

    Tesco down sleeping bag

Had mine out the other night. 11 degrees, underquilt, sleeping in tshirt and shorts, using the tesco bag as a top quilt. i was toasty warm, but then 11 isnt that cold i suppoise. Might get a second one for colder weather, as its small light and i cant afford a better one!

    anybody used this vibram site?

Considering the official vibram five fingers site has a big 'beware of counterfeit merchandise' banner on their homepage, i'd be very careful. I also notice they dont have the latest shoes - so perhaps they're just selling off old stock??
