    How's the weather ?

I gave it plenty of revs and had to hold the tiller over. I had trouble coming from behind any trees and finding the wind blowing from the other side. All good fun.

    How's the weather ?

Very windy here yesterday. It was quite interesting trying to keep my boat in a straight line going down the canal. I've tied her up using 5 ropes, she didn't move much last night. It's a beautiful day today though, just outside Congleton.

For Sale A bit of a clearout

I need to make some room on my boat, so here are a few things i no longer need. All are 100% working and the prices include paypal and postage. Moving around on a boat it may be a couple of days before i can post them unless they go soon as i'm moored up fairly close to a post office...

    Overseas Just doing it !

I totally agree with your philosophy, that's why i grabbed all my clothes, tools, camping gear and dog, jumped aboard my narrowboat and set off. It's been 8 months now and the best thing i've ever done. I still get excited everytime i start the engine, untie the ropes and set off for the next...

Getting bark off Hazel (for walking stick)

Don't put the stick inside the spoon knife, keep it on the outside. Looking from above it should be something like this. O( sorry best i could do ive made alot of staffs and this is the easiest way ive found.

Getting bark off Hazel (for walking stick)

Use a spoon knife, it will come off quickly and easily. Use an ordinary knife around any knots.
