Popped into work today and knocked this up, not dissimilar from the Ray Mears folding grill
Just needs a splash of BBQ paint round the edges to fend off the ferrous oxide.
Can't wait to try it. :)
Might also make a fire tray that will sit on the leg stays to prevent fire scars.
Whadda ya think?

I wouldn't mind doing a few for people on here but I would have to check it would be ok to use the equipment at work with my boss.

May I ask what skills were used in making this? I've been thinking long and hard about the best kind of open fire grill and I must admit that I don't have the skills or knowledge to know where to start.

Would you be able to talk us through the process? It would be very much appreciated.

Perhaps more importantly; You'd also have to become a "maker" on here too, as it's against the rules to sell anything you have made, to members.

That said, it's only £30 to join as a maker and I reckon you'd get that back with your first sale, depending on what you charge obviously.

It looks to be pretty well done if I may say so and assuming you do decide to become a maker and knock a few out, I'd be interested in one, depending on cost of course.

sincere best wishes

I'd have no problem with becoming a "maker" and paying the £30.

It took me around 4 hours to do and I don't get much spare time so MIGHT be able to do 1 a week, (as I say, all depending on a nod from my boss).

Thanks to everyone who likes it, I guess it could be full grille or full hot plate, different sizes or to your design.
