although, even though i do sex ed and related stuff for work, i never knew you could get condoms in a tin! we just get them by the pallet load

When I was a sex education advisor and counselor we used to use the multi coloured and ribbed condoms as balloons when we had parties at our centre. It seemed appropriate.

I too, look for interesting tins and containers for projects, and judging by some of the 'finds' which appear on the forums I'm on, so do many others.

If you don't normally buy said items, then be very very careful that the missus doesn't find them. You might have a lot of explaining to do...........

Its bad enough killing the passion by fishing about in the top draw for condoms, let alone going down to the kitchen for a tin opener! you get back upstairs and shes fast asleep.
Although being into bushcraft maybe you keep a SKA in the bedside cabinet.

Hi All,
Except that I was looking at a tin of condoms and thinking that the container would make a good little stove. Now how sad is that!!!
Alan

Not sad enough!
My last package of condoms I had to throw away because the "Best before" was six month past!!

" I'd never have thought to look for condom tins! The last thing you'd want surely is to need a tin opener to get a rubber!"
Paul, being a Bushcrafter, you surely would sit on the bed and use an axe to open the tin, wouldnt you?

I did exactly the same thing the other week whilst picking up a prescription. The thing that is even better is I now have the other half pointing out containers for hobo stoves and sweet tins that may be better than my altoids ones

I until recently had an unopened pack of condoms in my drawer with an offer or competition for a 'Track Day' with Nigel Mansell.

I kid you not!!!
