Found my first ear hair today :yikes:

I've been dealing with the nosey ones for ages but this was a shocker.

And I thought it was wrinkly old men with really long ears that had them.

On the plus side I can still manage 90 minutes on a football pitch and only last weekend my 11 year old nephew commented how he liked my DC's :)

Finding the hair was grim but it was soon dispatched without too much pain, I wonder if swmbo had noticed it and not told me.

you're lucky, my SO notices before i do and just rips the things out, they bloody hurt when you're not expecting it let me tell you!

i've finally reached the stage where i can't pretend that the grey hairs in my beard are just a trick of the light anymore, i keep telling people that it makes me look distinguished, they generally laugh.

see young lasses on the town and instead of think "aye aye" im now starting to think "she'll catch her death of cold!"...now thats a sign of getting old!! the inner perv has been replaced by an outer older man!!....gutted!!! as for ear hair...had them for years! :(

my dad suffers from what my family calls owl eyebrows, ones that are really long and you've guessed it gives him an owlish appearance
so bad he trims them.
guess who found his first one last week? well actually guess who had his first one found by lisa the other week? yup me.

paul i thought that for years, my other one is seeing lasses in high heels and thinking she wouldnt cope well on long walk in them.
Shewie panic not you are in good company mate

leave them be, they'll keep your ears warm.

I could rub it in about the full head of hair, no grey and no ear hairs at 41 - but I'll not mention that.

Bad back and senility now that is a different kettle of those swimming thingies.

My ears aint long.....
Swift tip from the Indian Sub-continent - when they get too prolific singe them off!
Indian street barbers use something like a giant Q-tip that is aflame but using a Bic lighter (you have to work fast) does the job...
Not that I know from personal experience of course - my ears are naturally bald ;)

Jeepers I have been going bald since I was 19!! Ear hair arrived a long time ago and I think I my memory is shot. My joints creak and groan and make cracking noises everytime I bend. I am still under 40 I think, I will have to wait until the wife gets home to confirm that because I always forget how old I am. I still manage to run(slowly), mountain bike, play squash (badly) kayak and snowboard. And embarrass my kids with my immature behaviour! Age is only a number so dont worry about grey ear hairs or bushy eyebrows.
